When Fire Mountain Gems sent me some mesh tube as a gift with my order, I thought they’d be quite stimmy as a shake bracelet full of small beads. Here’s our prototype mesh shake bracelet featuring Preciosa silver-lined ruby Czech glass seed beads and cherry red wooden bicones:
We keep picking this up to fidget with it. The bicones slide allowing the seed beads to be gathered together during wear or allowed free during stimming. The mesh has the qualities of finger cuffs: pulling on the mesh constricts the tube, pushing the mesh together expands the tube. This constriction and expansion allows controlling the cascade of the beads through the tube.
The magnetic clasp closes with a satisfyingly affirmative click and locks with a bayonet lug.
Gorgeous peridot green large twisted turbine beads alternate with hammered copper rounds and copper drums. These Czech glass fire polished beads consist of two rounded end pieces made up of twisted transparent glass accentuated with a contrasting reddish-brown picasso finish. The middle section is a faceted peridot band. A copper toggle provides closure.
3.5mm blue miyuki cubes with copper-lined holes space out 6mm x 8mm aqua green Picasso Czech glass faceted rondelles. A single Ashanti Ghana lost wax technique brass round serves as the focal, and a copper toggle clasp provides closure.
Patterned Silver Rounds in graduated sizes alternate with 8mm cobalt blue faceted Czech glass (with aurora borealis finish), and dark 8mm Magkuno wood rounds. A silver Karen Hill Tribe toggle clasp provides closure.
